How to Measure
Accurate measuring is the first step in finding a suit that fits precisely. Measure over your undergarments and have someone help you, if possible.
All the measurements on our size chart above are important. Most important, however, is the torso measurement. The torso is the length of the body from the shoulder to the crotch and back to the starting point.
Surprisingly, torso length can have little relationship to height. A woman 5’ 9" tall may actually have a short torso and long legs, whereas a woman of 5’ 2" could have a long torso and short legs. We offer many styles in both regular and long torso lengths to provide you with a better-fitting suit.
Torso
Run a tape measure full circle from your shoulder, over the fullest part of your bust, down between your legs and back up to the starting point.
Tip: for easier measuring, let the tape measure drop down your back from the shoulder; reach between your legs and and bring the other end of the tape back up to the starting point.
Bust
With arms relaxed at your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Choose the leg openings
Our swimwear is styled with one of the following leg openings:
Modest leg height - offers the most coverage
Medium leg height - cut slightly higher at the front; modest coverage at the back
Choose a bra style that suits best
Shelf bra: offers light coverage and support.
Soft cup bra: offers medium support; fits cup sizes A-C (some D/DD-cup options);
C-DD in Plus sizes (where available).
Underwired bra: supports and enhances well; fits cup sizes A-C (some D/DD-cup options); C-DD in Plus sizes (where available).
