Monogramming is a great way to make an item uniquely yours, or to make a gift extra special. Your choice of monogram can be expertly embroidered on many of our products including shirts, jackets, polos, towels and blankets; individual item descriptions indicate monogram availability.

Colours and positioning are optimised

We’ve chosen what we’ve found to be the most popular styles and colours for monograms. For most items, we’ve chosen a contrasting but complementary thread colour. The default position for embroidery is on the left side of the chest. If you would prefer to have the embroidery elsewhere, please call our sales advisors on 0800 376 7974 who will be happy to take details.

Choose up to 10 characters including spaces and punctuation in the type style you prefer.

Please note that a few items may allow fewer than 10 characters, and the type style selection may be restricted for that product.

Choose from eight type styles

If you make no choice, we’ll select an appropriate style for the item. Note that the order of initials varies from style to style. In the examples shown, A = first name initial, B = middle name initial, and C = last name initial.

Not all type styles are available for all products.

Monogram characters.

After choosing your monogram style, you'll be asked to enter the desired monogram text. As shown above, some monogram styles accommodate up to 10 letters and/or characters (including punctuation and spaces) to allow for name and word requests. Styles commonly used only for initials will accommodate up to 3 letters. If you have any special requirements or questions about monogramming, please call us on 0800 376 7974.

Monogram locations and colours.

Many items offer a choice of several monogram locations. Some items can only be monogrammed in one or two specific locations. For monogram colours, we generally use a contrasting but complementary thread colour on clothing, as well as luggage and beach towels. For bath towels and other home products, we use a matching tone. After you select a monogram type, the location options and default thread colour for the product you're ordering will be indicated. If you would like a different thread colour, please call us on 0800 376 7974.

Our Pinpoint formal shirt is pure Supima® cotton - the top 3% of America's cotton crop. It's still woven in ultra-fine '80s' yarn but thanks to Supima's exceptional quality, it's smoother and stronger than ever.

Along with an easy-iron finish that keeps the shirt looking just-pressed all day, we've built in a couple of additional features to make our formal shirts stand apart. First, wicking - the fabric moves moisture away to increase your comfort on warmer days. How to measure

If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!

Height

Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.

Chest

With arms relaxed at your sides, measure over the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
